I am a 32-year-old attorney-turned-book editor-turned-aspiring high school English teacher-turned-stay-at-home mom to an amazing toddler boy who amazes me every day. I am an avid reader with over 1,000 books in my personal library (yes, I have way too many books), passionate about cooking, and I love to create things, especially quilts and anything that's easy to knit. I am a lazy scrapbooker, and I wish I had room and time to get into furniture restoration, but maybe when I have more time on my hands. I hope to learn to crochet sometime in the future, am interested in fabric dying, and have started to cross-stitch. Yes, I do sleep, but not as much as I'd like.
- Quilting Style: Mostly scrappy, mostly traditional, but starting to find inspiration in modern quilting
- Quilt Stash: Probably between 125-200 yards of fabric + a handful of large quilt backings
- Quilting Method: I piece quilt tops on my sewing machine. It's an early-80s Singer sewing machine that I inherited from my grandmother. I tie baby quilts, and I hand quilt the rest, and I always stitch my bindings down by hand.
